Colonel Pradeep Bajaj

Col Pradeep Bajaj (Retd), has experience in developing, planning, and implementing training activities in Army as well as in Private Sector. For more than the last 15 years, he has been part of the skill ecosystem, as it exists today, in the mosaic that covers mobilization, training, assessment, and placement. Author of learning content in vocational training at workmen level, and in higher education, and has valuable experience in the development of national occupational standards, and standards in the field of Security Management with ASIS International, on the Technical Committee of various standards. Post Graduate in Defence and Strategic Studies, he was awarded COAS Commendation Card for distinguished services

Major General Deepak Mehta

Maj Gen DK Mehta was commissioned into The RAJPUTANA RIFLES in March 1972. He has seen active operations in J& K along the Line of Control, with tenures in Arunachal Pradesh. He has a chequered career of 37 years in uniform encompassing command, staff, and instructional appointments. In command, he commanded an Infantry Battalion in J& K during the height of the insurgency phase and was injured. He commanded an Infantry Brigade during Op PARKRAM and a Mountain Division. He has been on staff appointments in all Hq from Battalion to Army Hq. He raised the first Information Warfare Cell in the Army as a pilot project. He has had instructional appointments in the premier training establishment of the Army War College and the Indian Military Academy.

C. Pal Singh

IG Police (Retd)

Masters in English literature – Mr. C. Pal Singh has served in various states of India, on Senior Police appointments. He served as Inspector General of Police Punjab & was subsequently made responsible by the Government of India to raise a new Force i.e. Rapid Action Force (Govt. of India) to deal with Communal Riots. He was appointed the first Chief of this elite police force in India.

He also raised & then headed Internal Security Academy – A Central Police Academy at Mount-Abu (Rajasthan) – meant to train Senior Administrators, police officers, and higher echelons of Public & Private Sector Undertakings on the subject of Internal Security & Law and Order.

During his long years of a police career, he achieved laurels for his excellence and outstanding performance.

He was responsible to deal with terrorism in the state of Punjab. His handling of ethnic insurgency in the North-Eastern states of India and terrorist movements in other states has won him a name in the country.

In recognition of his outstanding performance, during his service career, he was decorated with, President Police Medal for distinguished services, Indian Police Medal for Meritorious Services, Police Special Duty Medal with bar, Sena Medal, & a number of other commendations & rewards.

After retirement, he has also been conferred the following prestigious awards – Security personality of the year Award – by the president of India in the Global Security Conference at Vigyan Bhawan Delhi in the year 2009. Dronacharya Award by the Home Minister of India at the International security summit held in 2011. Scroll of Honor by HE The Governor of Punjab at the international security Conference in 2012. Lifetime achievement award by Asian Professional Security Association (HQs at Bangkok). & Police excellence – Lifetime achievement award at international police expo and seminar – 2018.

He was involved in developing curriculum for Security Guard‟s Training under security sector & skill Development Corporation

He has been a driving force in starting up-skilling & training courses in the Pvt security industry. As head of the committee, he designed & worked out National occupational standards for training of Pvt. Security guards & qualification pack and NOS for firefighters.

Advisor, Asian Professional Security Association (APSA) – India Chapter., Hony – Director General – (CAPSI)- Central Association of Private Security Industry – India & APDI (Association of Private Detectives & Investigators)- India. He is actively associated with charitable institutes & Trusts.

He is president CWD (Children of the world- Under Ministry of women and child welfare) C. Pal Singh’s face is well known in the country as a dynamic security professional who has appeared in a number of interviews at the national television channels. His publications, press briefings, and interviews have always received wide coverage in the media.

Lt Gen Rakesh K Loomba

PVSM, AVSM (Retd)

Lieutenant General Rakesh Kumar Loomba, an alumnus of the National Defence Academy and the Indian Military Academy Dehradun, is a visionary and a soldier general of exceptional caliber with rich, vast, and varied experience. Commissioned in the illustrious Skinner’s Horse in June 1970, he commanded the Deccan Horse, a highly decorated and battle-hardened Regiment.

A 1971 War veteran, General Loomba has the distinction of having commanded one of the strategically important Armoured Brigades during “Op Vijay”, and thereafter the primary Strike Armoured Division of the Indian Army. As a Corps Commander, he provided strategic leadership and direction as the General Officer Commanding of a Corps in an intense Counter Insurgency environment in the North East, with jurisdiction over six states.

General Loomba, with his vast and varied experience in all theatres of war, has tenanted numerous important staff and instructional appointments. He was Commander Higher Command Wing, a prestigious apex-level strategic training institution, responsible for grooming senior officers. Prior to retiring, after an illustrious career spanning 40 years, Gen Loomba was the Director-General of Military Intelligence; wherein he gave a fresh impetus to matters ‘Intelligence and National Security.

The General Officer was awarded commendation cards by three Army Commanders, prior to the award of Ati Vishist Sewa Medal and Param Vishist Sewa Medal by the President of India for rendering services of an exceptionally high order. A Master of Sciences and Master of Philosophy, General Loomba is a keen sportsman. He has also been the Colonel Commandant of Skinners’ Horse, the Deccan Horse, and the 86 Armoured Regiment.

Post-retirement he conceptualized the Indo Sri Lanka Chambers of Commerce and Industry. He is presently the Co-Chairman of the Chambers. Presently he is also the Special Adviser to the Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways.

Ms. Rita Sinha

Secretary Govt. of India (Retd)

After completing her post-graduation from Panjab University, Chandigarh, Rita Sinha joined the IAS in 1973 and was allotted the U.P. cadre. Spanning a career of 37 years she held various posts in the State Government notably, CEO NOIDA, Secretary /Principal Secretary in the Departments of Education, Culture, Tourism, and Taxation.

She retired in 2010 from the post of Secretary to Government of India, Ministry of Rural Development, Department of Land Resources.

Post-retirement she took up various consultancies notably those for the German Bank, GIZ, through a research organization, for the Word Bank for Land Governance Assessment Framework, and for ERA Business School.

She has published several articles on land-related issues such as land acquisition, land titling, modernization of land records, women’s land rights, land laws, land governance, and so on in reputed journals and as papers for conferences.

She was an Independent Director on the Board of Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL), and of Powerlink’s Transmission Limited (a JV of PGCIL and Tata Power Company). Currently, she is an Independent Director on the Boards of Prayag Power Generation Company Limited and Maithon Power Limited, both subsidiaries of Tata Power Company.

Lt Gen Jasbir S Dhaliwal

PVSM, AVSM, VSM (Retd)

Commissioned into The Dogra Regiment in 1972, Lt Gen Jasbir Singh is an alumnus of National Defence Academy, a graduate of Defence Services Staff College, Wellington, Higher Command Course at Army War College and the prestigious National Defence College, New Delhi.

Educational qualifications include MSc (Defense Studies), M Phil  (Leadership in Operational and Strategic Environment), Diploma

(National Security and Strategy).

During his 40 years of service, of which 24 yrs were in J&K, has held various staff and command appointments, which include a three-year-long tenure as Defence Attache in Myanmar from 1997-2000.

Commanded an infantry battalion and division in counter-insurgency operations in Jammu & Kashmir and a brigade in the Western Sector during Operation Parakram 2002-03.

Important senior appointments held were, Brigadier General Staff (Operations) of India’s only High Altitude Corps, Director General of

Infantry, the largest Arm of the Indian Army, also Chief of Staff of Northern

Command, which has the dual responsibility of guarding borders with Pakistan and China and is currently in the thick of the worst Insurgency and Terrorism being faced by India since 1989. Highly experienced in the conduct of counter insurgency/ counter-terrorist operations at Tactical as

well as Strategic levels. Has addressed US troops undergoing induction training for operations in Iraq & Afghanistan on counter-insurgency & counter-terrorism operations at US training establishment in Alaska. Also addressed Russian Special Forces & PLA troops during joint Sino-Indian

Armies training events. An avid sportsperson, played Basketball, Squash, now actively pursuing Golf.
